Storyboards
Review and approve the plan for your first video before anything is built.
A storyboard is the plan for a new video: every scene, in order, with timing and a picture of the intended look. fluos proposes one before it builds, so you decide the direction while changes are still cheap.
When you get one
Every brand-new video starts with a storyboard. fluos writes it from your brief, any files or links you attached, and your website's colors and fonts when it knows them. Follow-up edits to an existing video do not need a new storyboard — they build on the one already there.
If something important is missing — the product, the duration, the tone — fluos may ask a short question first, as a tappable card, instead of guessing.
What the card shows
The storyboard card appears in the chat thread marked Waiting for your approval. It contains:
- A title and the number of scenes, built in the order shown
- The scene-by-scene text plan with timing, copy, and motion intent
- An illustrated contact sheet of the numbered scenes, which you can open at full size
The storyboard is saved with your project and stays visible after a refresh.
Approve or change it
The card gives you two actions:
- Approve and build — starts the build from this exact plan. The card is marked Approved.
- Request changes — opens a feedback box. Send your notes and fluos rewrites the storyboard, redraws the sheet, and posts it again. The card shows Changes requested while it revises.
Revising does not build anything. You can go back and forth as many times as you want.
Lock the frame early
Aspect ratio and duration are the two decisions that are most expensive to change later, because they change layout and pacing everywhere. Settle them in the storyboard. If you know you need several formats, say so up front — see Multi-Format Cuts.
Talking before you commit
You do not have to rush to a storyboard. Ask for opinions, compare directions, or say "don't build yet" and fluos stays in conversation. Questions like "what would you do differently for LinkedIn?" or "is 45 seconds too long for this?" get a straight answer.
Older plan cards
Chats created before storyboards may still show a Plan ready card with Implement and Request changes. They work the same way — approving starts the build from that plan.
