Understand preview status, restart behavior, and final downloads.
Preview States
| State | Meaning | What to do |

| Connecting | Preview is still initializing | Wait briefly, then re-check status |
| Running | Preview is healthy and interactive | Continue iteration |
| Error | Preview failed to become healthy | Trigger status check and restart |
Why Preview Can Be Delayed
Startup can include sandbox readiness checks and preview server boot. Temporary upstream/gateway-like errors may self-recover.
Export Formats
fluos export paths support:
- MP4
- GIF
Exact availability depends on composition/render flow.
Export Process
- Confirm preview is healthy.
- Confirm target composition and dimensions.
- Trigger export.
- Wait for completion.
- Download file from authenticated download path.
Download and Access
Export files are tied to authenticated project/chat access controls. If permissions or context mismatch, export/download requests can fail.
Before rendering
If preview has been unstable, run one fresh status check first. It reduces failed export attempts.
